Inspired by the natural beauty of California's Napa Valley wine country, Olivina is literally and figuratively a green beauty company. Olivina was created by Susan Costner-Kenward. With an imaginative, artistic nature tempered by a business background and an earthy wit, Susan’s focus transitioned from culinary (as a chef and food critic) through fashion to the beauty world.
With references to Susan and her winemaker husband Tor’s lifestyle in the Napa Valley, Olivina’s core ingredients - hand-pressed, anti-oxidant Olive and Grape Seed oils come from a landscape dotted with Olive trees and world-renowned grapevines. Olivina looks to nature for revitalising and nourishing ingredients, and while the collection is Olive and Grapeseed oil based, other healthy and soothing extracts including Chamomile, Sea Algae, Kelp, Shea Butter, Honey, Avocado oil, Aloe Vera are used in the formulations.
“Olivina products contain natural ingredients, are both paraben and lauryl-sulfate free and are made to be gentle yet beneficial to the skin,” explains Susan. |
